ALLEN PARK -- Keeping up with a yearly tradition, the Detroit Lions held an evening practice on Monday, which was closed to Lions Loyal members. This year’s event featured a special appearance by pro football Hall of Famer and Lions legend Barry Sanders.
This marked Sanders’ first public appearance since his heart-related health scare in June. While Sanders did not provide specifics about his health in his statement or during Monday’s appearance, he was eager and excited to discuss the team’s outlook for the upcoming season.
